Wool Felt Desk Mat

A desk mat cut from 5 mm pressed wool felt — a single dense sheet, not a foam pad with a fabric face. It gives a keyboard and mouse a quiet, slightly cushioned surface and protects a wooden desk from scuffs and cup rings, and because it is solid felt rather than laminated foam there is no edge to peel or fray. The felt is wide enough for a full keyboard and mouse side by side, lies flat without curling at the corners, and a spill wipes off the surface before it soaks in. The underside grips a smooth desk enough to stay put without a rubber backing.
